Christmas time is Band Aid, Wham! and specials on TV,
Its selection packs for breakfast and mince pies with your tea,
Its receiving cards from people who you forgot weren't on your list,
And taking early lunches then coming back half-pissed,
Its worrying the things you've bought your loved-ones aren't enough,
And coming to the conclusion that if they're not, well then its tough,
Its feeling like you're part of some tradition from the past,
And hoping that next year will be as happy as the last.

The Tunnel Man
I saw the Tunnel Man as I was hurtling down the track,
His eyes were glowing green as they stared out from the black,
I squashed my face against the glass to get a better look,
But Tunnel Man had vanished, so I went back to my book.
His eyes were glowing green as they stared out from the black,
I squashed my face against the glass to get a better look,
But Tunnel Man had vanished, so I went back to my book.
